E4: The Last Lecture Nominations!

Wednesday, February 15, 2012 12:00 AM

Each year, the engineering faculty at the University of Florida teach, mentor and prepare future Gator Engineers to succeed in what we as students term ‘the real world’. Although the faculty, through their hard work and efforts, teach us much about the engineering world with all its equations, formulas and theories, we as a student body believe there is so much more we can learn from our professors. Their experiences, their motivation and their philosophy on life can inspire not only gator engineering students, but students of this entire University. With that in mind, this year, the University of Florida Engineering Ambassadors in conjunction with the Benton Engineering Council and the Engineering College Student Affairs Office will be hosting the first annual E4: The Last Lecture event and award. Through engineering student nominations along with review from a formal committee, a professor will be chosen to present a “Last Lecture”, giving students not only the last lecture for the academic year, but through it, an inspiring message of life lessons acquired through the professor’s own life experiences.

Nominations for E4 are open! Click on a link below to nominate the professors of your choice.
